Auston “Lil Flip” Kap started as one of the high school groms that picked up the sport with his brother in 2022. He and his buddies, Easton and Gavin, would play The Canyons and Heritage Park every day, they craved competition and would challenge others to play doubles. They were eventually pulled into the community vortex of leagues and events at Dellwood. Auston improved quickly and decided to start paying in tournaments, he had a stellar season competing in MA2 and MA1. He rose through the ranks and had multiple top 5 finishes throughout the year. These young guns give us major Stand By Me vibes and they keep us young at heart. Auston would often stay after leagues and offer help whenever we needed it, his mature demeaner mixed with his youthful spirit impressed us so much that we added him to Team DDG and hired him in the shop in the same year.
