Dellwood Disc Golf is handing the prison keys over to a new host.

Inparcerated, the only disc golf tournament held inside of a prison is back in 2021! In 2018 Mark Grabavoy came to us with an incredible idea, disc golf inside The Old Joliet prison. We partnered with Mark and ran three amazing sold-out events, with proceeds going to The Joliet Area Historical Museum as well as the gold level course he is installing across the street from the prison. As this year started to get rolling we knew we’d have a full plate with Clash at the Canyons and The Greater Joliet Tour Series, when we looked at the calendar we couldn’t find a date that worked with all parties involved. As time ticked on it became clear that we needed a break with running events, so this year Dellwood Disc Golf will not be involved in Inparcerated 4. However, Mark Grabavoy and his crew will continue to run the event! The date for this year’s Inparcerated is set for September 18 & 19. They will be running the same format as years past with three times with 72 players each on both Saturday and Sunday. Keep your eyes peeled for registration as it is sure to fill up quick!
